About the Author
Greg Jacobs is the author of The Everything Kids' Baseball Book, 4th Edition and The Everything Kids' Football Book. He has worked as a reporter/statistician for STATS.com's baseball division since 1997, keeping a detailed scorecard for nearly forty games each year as part of the data collection effort for Stats's annual publications. His other baseball writing includes the weekly "Nachoman's Baseball" column, available online. He lives and teaches at Woodberry Forest School in central Virginia, where he broadcasts the school's varsity baseball games via Internet audio.

Great starter book
Great introduction into baseball for the enthusiastic 7-10 year olds; these series integrate the logistics, fun facts, interactives and they actually learn. My 3 boys were constantly quizzing each other from the book throughout baseball season!
