Perfect Nightlight
My 3 year old grandson is fascinated with the moon so I thought we would see if he would like this. Since he is only 3 I hung it high in his room and the first time he saw it he was so excited, and it was during the day! Everyone who sees it thinks it's neat and asks where I got it.
He does like to touch it and play with the controller to see the different stages so as I said we keep things up so he can only do that when we are with him. He asks questions about the feel and craters and I think when he starts school he will be the most informed child in his class about the moon.
It's used as a night light and I like the auto turn off.

It really is a moon in your child's room
My son has always had a fascination with the moon - always pointing it out at night and those times when you can just see a ghost of it in the daytime. Crescent moon or full moon - he loves it.

This is not a toy really - more a nightlight or decoration. He loves it and it is quite realistic, if not as bright as it is shown in the pic. He's mesmerized by it each night and always falls asleep before it shuts off. Very good purchase for us.

It was about $20 when I bought it just before Christmas. It's gone up as I write this. But still worth it if your child is as fascinated by the moon as mine is.

Very cool
This is not a sturdy toy for handling, but more of a wall hanging and it looks good on the wall, especially at night. Luckily, we found it heavily discounted at a major dept. store so it was well worth the the money for us. My kids from ages 1 up love this moon and it works great as a nightlight as well. I hope to buy more as gifts!
